F1 frenzy finally grabbing INDIA

INDIAN Grand Prix

Are you sure its happening?

YES (finally).

      

         Firstly congrats to all F1 FANS in India. The Indian Grand Prix is upon us the weekend of 28-30 Oct. All those who want to feel the rush of speed will be on the grandstand at the Buddh International Circuit, Noida.  The ticket prices are sure to burn a hole in your pocket @Rs. 35,000/- for the grandstand seat(3 day package).

        I have always listened to the sound of the engine on the TV but this time, I so wish I could be there to experience the thrill as I am a die-hard fan of F1 just like the most of you. I always wanted to see the race in India but as i will not be making it to Noida this year. I will be enjoying with my friends on a large screen. 

        I have always been a fan of Mclaren Mercedes team, but on the race weekend this time I will be cheering not only for the Silver Arrows but also for Force India. I hope both Indian drivers (Karun Chandhok and Narain Karthikeyan) get a chance to drive in their home race. Seb(Vettel) has already won the drivers championship and Red Bull has wrapped the constructors championship as well, but that will not make the Grand Prix any less exciting and fun. 

       One of the best things that the Indian Grand Prix has done is that it has got even the non followers to take notice of Motorsport and leaving Cricket for some time. India will now be able to boast about an International Motorsport Circuit as well. The Indian Grand Prix will not only open the doors to a lot of foreign tourists but also will be good for the Indian economy. The only thing i ask of all the spectators is to make India proud and Please Behave Yourselves.

Launch: iPhone 4S

iPhone 4S has been launched!!!!!!!!!

It will be available in the US from 14th October, 2011.

All those who read my blog about the iPhone 5 will notice that most of my predictions were correct on what to expect from the new phone. Yes I know i was expecting(secretly hoping) for a 5 with all new design but 4S will do just fine.
The new features include...
iPhone 4S has upgraded to the A5 chip and iOS 5.Which means faster and better performance not only in applications but also on high graphic games. It receives a new camera an 8 megapixel camera for still images, full HD video recording at 1080p. Airplay mirroring will also be possible on the 4S(view/play games on your tv set wirelessly or with with). iCloud, iMessages will be accompanied with a fantastic new feature for voice recognition and commands and Apple is calling it Siri. It understand  voice commands spoken in normal english eg. what is the definition of Economics, or how many days are left till christmas?
Innovation in the 4S is that it is a world phone(i.e compatible on both GSM and CDMA), nice thinking by Apple to save them from making two versions of the phone. It is priced at Black and White versions 16GB: $199, 32GB:$299, 64GB: $399(contract prices).


"The most amazing iPhone yet" is what Apple is calling it and I will second it!!!!!!

iPhone 5

With Apple's "Lets Talk iPhone" event just four days away (that is on the 4th october 2011), I felt this is the best time to express my views and expectations on the most awaited device of the year...

This is for all iPhone LOVERS.

Design: According to me the size of the iPhone 5 will change for sure. Firstly the screen size will be increased to 4 inches, the phone will be considerably thinner it could even be the thinnest smartphone ever. The design on the phone will be new with smart use of the aluminium. The Retina Display will find its way even on this device.

OS: It is for sure that iPhone 5 will have the latest OS the iOS 5. iOS 5 has more than 200 new features which all iPhone users current and new will appreciate and enjoy. Full list of features can be accessed on the official page. The best feature that a lot of users will like is iMessages, this is Apples answer to the BBM of Blackberry.

Camera: The camera will surely be upgraded. I expect it to come with 8 megapixel camera and the video recording at 1080p. We all know that the camera on the iPhone 4 was great and most competitors did not even come close to the clarity the 8 megapixel camera will set new benchmark for the competition for sure.

Performance: The iPhone 5 will borrow the A5 chip from the iPad for better performance, to be specific A5 is twice as powerful than the A4 in the iPhone 4 . More RAM will be given to the phone. The performance of the iPhone 4 was great but the competition was able to quickly catch up. Now the competition will again have to rack their brain as nobody does it better than Apple.

Storage: The storage options that should be available are 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

And The Most Awaited Feature THE iCLOUD Sync all your data wirelessly to all ios devices. No more hassel of wires.
iPhone 5 will surely be another hit from Apple and as usual people will be lining outside the stores to lay their hands on it....

Review of the SUNNY

Have you seen Sunny lately??????

No, not the super Deol. I am talking about the new offering from the stable of Nissan the Japanese automaker. The new Nissan Sunny is the latest entrant in the sedan category this year. Nissan have not had a fairytale experience with the Teana and the X-Trail, but they showed promise with the Micra. Could the Sunny be the car that changes the fortune for Nissan? Only time will tell.....

First let me tell you that the Sunny has been launched in three variants- base XE, mid-level XL and top-end XV. The prices are 5.78 Lakh, 6.88 Lakh and 7.68 Lakh respectively ex showroom New Delhi.


All those who are unaware about the Sunny, This is the 10th generation of the car. Past generations of Sunny have been a very successful in the Gulf. The name was selected through a contest that invited Nissan's customers in Japan to choose what they would like to call it.

I am not happy with the look of the car. Its not a sort of a design that make me weak in the knees when i look at it, and yet the presence of the car makes you comfortable to look at. It is like just another car next to you. For me the best part of the car is the front. The front bumper looks raised and the front grille looks fresh. The rear of the car looks dull and outdated. Looking at the car from the side makes you feel assured that there will be enough room on the inside and on this the Sunny does not disappoint.

The interiors remind you of the Micra in many ways. The colours used on the inside are completely opposite to what the name suggests and look dull, in fact the lack of colour actually takes away from the car's appealing array of gadgets to some extent. The list of features that the car boasts of is exhaustive which include steering mounted controls, a push-to-start button, climate control, Rear A/C vents, electronically adjustable rear view mirrors, an integrated audio system with 4 speakers and AUX, remote key less entry, Alloy wheels and air bags to name a few.

The sunny has a lot of things to make it a winner Space in the cabin and a large boot to boast about and it also has a lot of things going against it like the looks especially when you compare it with the competition in the market. The likes of Hyundai Verna, VW Polo, Ford Fiesta, Honda City will be tough competition on the grounds of looks and features and the Tata Indigo Manza will be the car aiming when it comes to space so it is tough road ahead for Nissan......

I would like to thank Prof. Neville Gomes for encouraging me to start Blogging.....

I am very excited to start blogging and as I am new to it kindly bear with me. In time i will get better at it. I am going to be blogging about Technology, Formula 1 and any thing interesting I come across. If any one of you want me to blog about certain topics do let me know. I will be very happy to get feedback from you, so feel free to comment and lets share our views.....
